Polling locations, hours detailed for Election Day, Nov. 5

The long-awaited General Election Day is nearly here, and in Logan County, numerous voters have already cast their votes during early voting hours offered by the Logan County Board of Elections.

Board of Elections Deputy Director Adam Brannon said the county set records for its early voting this fall.

“We ended this election’s early voting period with more in-office voters than ever before. 13,194 Logan County voters voted at our office this election, that is more voters than voted in some entire past countywide elections,” he said this week via Facebook.

“My estimate for the total turnout for this election for Logan County is 77.92 percent of all registered voters with a range of 73.83 percent to 84.47 percent. That would be between 23,868 & 27,309 total votes.”
