Bellefontaine City Schools will conduct a simulated intruder drill Thursday, Oct. 17 at each building.

The full-scale drills are the result of thorough planning and preparation to ensure that they will be effective and age-appropriate.

An intruder, who is actually a law enforcement officer, will make very loud noises in the hallways at Bellefontaine High School and Bellefontaine Middle School.

There will be no interaction between the intruder and the students.

Discussion and debriefing will take place after the drills. This will be available for all students and staff members.

More specific information was sent to parent email addresses on October 9th.
