Several automated external defibrillators were purchased recently via Mary Rutan Foundation funding for use by the organization’s partner schools.
The foundation purchased the AEDs so their local athletic training partners would have easier access to the life-saving but expensive devices in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.
Trainers who received the AEDs on behalf of their school districts are Rich Garber, Upper Scioto Valley; Lauren Coy, Benjamin Logan; Melissa Noble, Jackson Center; Kassidy Esser, Ridgemont and Paul Miller, Bellefontaine.
