Adam Brannon, Logan County Board of Elections deputy director, met with Benjamin Logan High School juniors and seniors Monday, Sept. 23, to discuss the voter registration process and the importance of participating in the upcoming elections.

This timely presentation highlighted the significance of being an active participant in democracy, particularly for students who will be eligible to vote in the Nov. 5 election.

Brannon provided key information on how students can register to vote and the various voting methods available. Students were reminded that those who are 18 years or older and eligible to vote in the November election should make sure they are registered by the deadline of Oct. 7.

How to Get Registered:

• Pick up registration forms at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, local library, or from high government teachers; or

• Register online at olvr.ohiosos.gov.

“We all have a voice. Don’t let your chance to make a difference pass you by. Your vote matters,” Brannon emphasized to students, encouraging them to take advantage of their right to vote and get involved in shaping the future of their community and country.

Students who were eligible and interested in voting were encouraged to attend the session, with further information about registration available both in person and online.
