Longtime Logan County resident Alice Ann Pruett poses Friday, Aug. 23, with Ray Seymour, Campbell Place maintenance director, upon boarding an airplane for a special occasion, her 101st birthday. Last year, Campbell Place staff reached out to the Bellefontaine Airport about Pruett’s 100th birthday wish- to fly in an airplane. However, weather conditions last year resulted in the flight being postponed. So this year’s flight “was amazing and special,” Seymour said, expressing appreciation to the Bellefontaine Airport, Steve Buchenroth, Joti Shepherd, Jim Holycross and pilot Nicholas Banard.
