Christine Greener, 62, Bellefontaine, was charged Thursday, Aug. 7, for persistently disorderly conduct for repeated run-ins with a neighboring resident.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were dispatched to a residence on north Elm Street on reports of ongoing incidents between neighbors there.

Officers were told that Greener repeatedly texts and attempts to communicate with a husband and wife nearby and that there recently had been a confrontation in the parking lot at Tim Horton’s. Greener repeatedly attempted to befriend the man and his wife despite their refusal.

Greener admitted to being told by police previously to avoid contact with the couple.

The victim provided a witness statement detailing his interactions with Greener and reported an incident from July 4 of this year in which Greener approached him in her vehicle, offering to speak with him despite his objections.
