Howard F. “Clarky” Clark, 81, of Lakeview, OH, passed away early Monday morning, August 12, 2024, at Lima Memorial Health Systems with his family by his side.

Howard was born on March 20, 1943, in Clinton, IN, a son of the late Howard F. and Ruth Niehaus Clark. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffry Howard Clark, two sisters, Rita Clark and Donna (Marvin) Feldmeyer, a brother, John P. Clark, nephews, Johnny Clark, Joey Nagy, and Scot Feldmeyer, and an uncle, Charlie Niehaus.

Howard married Linda Nagy on August 17, 1977, in Cincinnati, OH and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Andrea (Ken) Boyd of Alto, MI, Rochell (JR) Prahl of Allendale, MI, and Rhonda (Dillard) Hatfield of Lakeview, 10 grandchildren, Lena (Seth) Voss, Anela Hatfield, Adilynn Hatfield, Hannah Prahl, Jeffry Boyd, Christian Boyd, Adrienne Hatfield, Clayton Prahl, Keeley Boyd, and Lucy Prahl, and a brother-in-law, Dan Nagy of Holdredge, NE.

Howard was a general contractor for 45 years, owning and operating Arrow Construction. He also taught at Great Oaks Vocational School in Cincinnati.  Howard was a member of Indian Lake Community Church in Russells Point, Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615, and life member of the NRA. Howard was a well-rounded individual who enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, golfing, dancing and singing, and had an affinity for telling great stories. Howard was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, whose greatest times were spent with his family and attending his grandchildren’s activities.

A celebration of Howard’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
