Bellefontaine’s Fulmer set to swim at U.S. Olympic trials

After a spectacular swimming career at The Ohio State University, Bellefontaine native Amy Fulmer will now put her talents up against the best swimmers in the United States at the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis.

The Olympic Trials begin today and continue through June 23. The site of this year’s Trials is Lucas Oil Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.

Fulmer has qualified for three events at the Olympic Trials. She will compete in the prelims of the 100 backstroke on Sunday, the 100 freestyle on Tuesday and the 50 freestyle on Saturday, June 22.
