Ella Pauline Dauber, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, Wednesday evening, March 27, 2024, at Mary Rutan Hospital, and was immediately reunited with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and husband Don.
Ella was born October 16, 1939, in Bendon, Michigan, the daughter of the late Earl & Cecil (Huffman) Monroe.
Ella attended and later graduated from Kelloggsville High School in Grand Rapids MI in 1957. Ella worked as the administrative assistant for the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center for over 35 years. She then worked at Sidney Schools, in Sidney, Ohio helping to generate report cards and retired in January in 2006.
Ella is preceded in death by her husband Don in 2016, son Jeff Dauber in 2019, sister Mae and Dorothy, and brothers Junior and Cleo.
She is survived by her children Linda (Scott) Kelly, David (Tina) Dauber and Brian (Becky) Dauber; grandkids Hayden Dauber, Ashlie (Shawn) Christopher, Heather Dauber, Dustin (Jessica) Dauber, Katie (Tyler Clark) Dauber, Natalie Dauber and Hannah Dauber, Matt (Taylor) Totin and Emilie Totin; great- grandchildren Tristan, Keagen, Kenlie, Brynn, Ellie, Camden, Luna and Isaac; numerous nieces, nephews. cousins and friends.
Ella was a life-long member of the Bellefontaine First Church or God, where she was a member of the women’s guild, their quilt guild for the homeless, along with the Happy Saints Senior Group, and the bereavement luncheon group. She was also a Sunday School teacher. She was a vital part of the church and will be missed deeply. She was a wonderful baker, and made the best rolls, and pecan pies. She will be remembered as the loving, kind, and faithful Wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that she was.
Friends may join the family Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 U.S. 68, West Liberty, Ohio 43357, where the family is requesting casual dress. Funeral Services Celebrating her life will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, with Pastor Gary Brown and Nate Wilcoxon officiating at the Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311, where friends may arrive one hour prior to the service.
Memorial Contributions in her honor may be directed towards the Bellefontaine First Church of God.
