Donna M. (Cowhick) Glett, 92, of Quincy, passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7,2024, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on July 8,1931, a daughter of the late Edward and Lulu Cowhick. On November 18, 1949, Donna married Richard H. Glett in Sidney, Ohio and he preceded her in death on March 29, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharlyn Hunter.

Donna is survived by two daughters, Debra Glett (James Kusner), and Shelly (Scott) Williams; four grandchildren; Tammy (Mitch) Smith, Megan King, David (Amanda) Williams, and Rachel Williams; nine great grandchildren; Emma, Nash, Alayna, Lily, Alexis, Jordan, and Michele; two great great grandchildren; Reagan, and Skylar; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A homemaker, Donna graduated from Piqua High School in 1949, where she participated in bowling and volleyball. She was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church and a proud member of the V.F.W. Logan Memorial Post #3528 Ladies Auxiliary in Quincy.

She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, attending numerous Buckeye football games, including the 2003 National Championship Game. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, helping on the farm, and especially attending the kid’s sporting and music events.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Quincy Methodist Church, 111 South Street in Quincy, where Pastor Mark Vincent will officiate a memorial service at 12 p.m. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday following the memorial service.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Donna’s memory, to the Quincy Methodist Church, 111 South Street, Quincy, Ohio 43343.
