Donald DeVerle Faulder, “Pastor Don”, 79, of Jackson Center, was welcomed into eternity by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born on July 12, 1944, a son of the late Harold LaVerne Faulder and Dorothy Irene (Branch) Faulder.

Donald married his beloved wife, Betty Jeane (Bolin) Faulder, who survives, on June 17, 1962. Together they built a life of love and service to others. A longtime pastor for the West Central Southern Baptist Association, Donald graduated from Liberty University and pastored Lighthouse Baptist Church of Jackson Center, Wapakoneta Baptist Church, and Celina Baptist Church prior to starting the Indian Lake Baptist Mission, now Indian Lake Baptist Church, in August 1996. His heart’s desire was to introduce as many people as possible to Jesus. In addition to his labor for the Lord, Donald worked at Airstream in Jackson Center for 45 years.

Donald is also survived by two sisters, Sheila Buck and Roseanna Norton; two brothers, Frank (Sherry) Faulder and Dennis Faulder; sister-in-law, Susan Faulder; five children- Donald (Paula) Faulder, Kenneth Faulder, Deborah (Andrew) Graham, Kimberly (Christopher) Krogman, and Lori (Richard) March; great-granddaughter, Emily Elaine Hennon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and countless spiritual sons and daughters.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by Betty’s parents, Curtis and Charlotte Bolin; five sisters- Katherine Faulder, Helen Stine, JoAnne Clark, Patty Eleyet, and Marsha Faulder; four brothers- Harold Faulder, Ralph Faulder, Robert Faulder, and Charles Faulder; several brothers- and sisters-in law; a daughter-in-law, Stacie (Niswonger) Faulder; and a granddaughter, Samantha Jeane Graham.

Pastor Ben Baum will officiate Donald’s funeral service on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 12 noon at Indian Lake Baptist Church, 340 W. Lake St., Lakeview, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in Glen Cemetery.
