Frank M. Wilkinson, Jr., 77, of DeGraff, OH passed away peacefully, early Tuesday morning, February 6, 2024, at his home.
Frank was born on March 31, 1946, at his home in Lakeview, a son of the late Franklin M. Wilkinson, Sr, and Patty R. Faulder Eleyet. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Nolan Wilkinson, and three siblings, LaVerne Ann Wilkinson, Michael A. Wilkinson, Sr., and David Lynn Wilkinson.
Frank married Nancy L. Closser Wilkinson on November 14, 2003, at the Indian Lake Baptist Church in Lakeview and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Sean (Kellea) Wilkinson of New Carlisle, OH, and Chad (Nita) Wilkinson of Bellefontaine, OH, two stepchildren, Michele Adams of Bellefontaine, and Terry Bechtol of Belle Center, OH, two grandchildren, Leah, and Scott Wilkinson, and two siblings, Kathy (Ed) Kaluzne of Baltimore, OH, and Larry (Linda) Wilkinson of Kenton, OH.
Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army servicing during Vietnam. He worked at ALCOA for over 42 years, retiring in 2006. Frank was a member of American Legion Post #178 in DeGraff. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines, playing euchre and fishing. Most of Frank’s activities revolved around good conversation with family and friends.
Pastor Mike Mitchell will begin graveside services at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Huntsville Cemetery with military rites performed by the United States Army and Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be given in Frank’s memory to Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Hospital.
