Preston Thomas Hensley, 26, of Bellefontaine, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Preston was born on January 4, 1998, in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was employed by Mid States Packaging in Logan County. Preston was a 2017 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School.

Preston was preceded in death by his mother Vickie Lynn Hensley of Georgia and his grandmother, Linda Ann Roberts, of Rushsylvania, Ohio.

He is survived by a brother, Kyle Baker, of Caldwell, Ohio; a grandfather, David Roberts, of Rushsylvania, Ohio; an Aunt, Toni Buroker, of Caldwell, Ohio; an Aunt, Jolie Davis, of Georgia and many cousins who loved him very much.

Preston is also survived by a group of friends that call him brother that Preston referred to as “the boys”. They are Jared Abbott, Brody Kinney, Trevor Powers, Conner Hill, Jacob Farmer, Trenton Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Steve Cole, Brock Buchenroth and Colin Robinson. They said of Preston that he was one of the greatest human beings they had ever met; a friend you can always laugh, smile and cry with. To know him is to love him. Preston will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

We will be gathering to celebrate Preston’s life. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Preston’s honor may be made to the Logan County Humane Society.
