Randy G. Lovett, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 7, 1956, to Lois (Garling) and the late Robert J. Lovett Jr.

On August 4, 2001, he married the former Barbara Linebaugh and she survives in Bellefontaine.

He is also survived by his children: Jessica (Brian) Green, Amber James, and Joshua (Cindy) Lovett; his stepson, Shane Siebeneck; grandchildren: Renee (Kelli) Williams, Bridgitte (Jacobi) Schmalenberger, Lane Green, Makynzi Green, Kalven Linebaugh, Kasen Tromblay, Millionna James, Stacey Lovett, and Lexi Lovett; great grandchildren: Jude, Jon, and Barrett; his brother, Dan (Jean) Lovett; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bill Lovett.

Randy was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He retired as a truck driver, finding his true passion working on and driving his truck. He was a generous man and also a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Per Randy’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
