Charles “Chuck” E. Knapp, 65, of Richwood, OH passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Ohio State University Hospital East, Columbus, OH.

Charles was born on November 13, 1958, in Kenton, OH, a son of the late Linda and Jack Heath and Franklin Knapp. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tim Knapp

Chuck is survived by his life companion of 35 years, Eileen Pugin, five children, Brandy (Ed) Parsons, Jaime (Mark) Harvey, and Tori (Richie) George, all of Bellefontaine, OH, Joyce (Kevin) Wales of Richwood, and Evan Pugin of Raymond, OH, five grandchildren, Christopher Harvey, Kaytlyn Harvey, Dredain George, Devin George, and Shawn Pugin, two brothers, Dan (Mary) Knapp of West Mansfield, OH, and BJ (Tomi) Knapp of Richwood and several nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a 1977 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Chuck was a retired contractor who specialized in building custom homes. Chuck enjoyed drinking his Busch beer while watching NASCAR, fishing, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will begin at 2 pm, Sunday, December 3, at 1550 CR 5 N, Bellefontaine, OH.
