Linda L. Hanson, 76, of Huntsville, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on September 20, 1947, to the late Robert Vernon and Sue Marcella (Detrick) Lentz.
On August 2, 1966, she married Carl Robert “Bob” Hanson and he survives.
She is also survived by their three children: Doug (Christy) Hanson, Amy (Tom) Murphy, and Scott (Kate) Hanson; grandchildren: Jordan (Leila), Josh, Alayna (Brian), Aidan, and Isaac; her brother, Robert “Bob” (Ranae) Lentz; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was a graduate of Indian Lake High School and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bellefontaine and the Harold Kerr American Legion Auxiliary Unit 173, Bellefontaine. She retired as the County Recorder for Logan County and after retirement, spent most of her time gardening, cooking, baking, or spending time with her grandkids.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 11:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
