City voters decide on council positions

A trio of incumbent members of the Bellefontaine City Council were re-elected Tuesday to at-large positions.

Deb Baker, Jenna James and Kyle Springs each were re-elected, besting challenger Victoria Maddox.

Baker received 1,890 votes; James, 1,899; and Springs, 2,308, according to unofficial results. Maddox received 1,122 votes.

Jordan Reser was re-elected to his seat on city council in Ward 2, defeating challenger Raymond Swisher, 930-315, unofficial results show.

There will be a new representative on city council from Ward 4 after MacKenzie Myers Fitzpatrick defeated incumbent Mick Like, 365-182.

Zeb Wagner, John Aler and Nick Davis ran unopposed and were also elected to city council seats.
