Turns out, not even wet weather can douse the Laker Spirit. The Laker faithful came out by the hundreds in rain gear for the annual Homecoming Community Parade and Pep Rally in downtown Russells Point Thursday evening, Oct. 5. The showers let up just long enough to enjoy the event. The streets were lined with fans and families in rain gear. Teams yelled the Battle Cry, Student Council members introduced the Homecoming Court, and the cheerleaders led “Simon Says,” “Limbo” and the “Frozen T-shirt Challenge” games.
