Driver Melinda C. Diaz, 53, of Grove City, and her passenger, Carole E. Sullivan, 55, of Columbus, each were transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries sustained in a crash Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Donna L. Conrad, 56, of Kenton, was operating an eastbound 2015 Kia Soul on County Road 57 about 6:20 p.m. when she crossed over U.S. Route 33 and struck a westbound 2020 Toyota Prius operated by Diaz.
Conrad did not report any injuries and was cited for right of way at intersections. Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene. All of the occupants were wearing their seat belts.
