Bellefontaine High School has named their 2023-24 homecoming court members, which includes, from the left, first row: honorary attendant Kylie Eaton, junior attendant Ava Reeves, queen candidates Emma Costin, Lauren Valdez and Kinsley Scott, sophomore attendant Sydney Gatchel and freshman attendant Jaylinn Foulk; and second row: king candidates Zane Tevis, Harper Scott and Mason Stanley.

The homecoming parade is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, starting at Chillicothe Avenue traveling south on Main Street turn east onto Washington Avenue onto Harding Street to the back of the school. There a pep assembly is staged in the stadium and fireworks will follow at dusk, where all of homecoming court will be recognized.

A food truck frenzy takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday inside AcuSport Stadium, featuring: Where There’s Smoke, Frog Sneeze Mac-N-Cheese, Dave’s Tasty Dogs, Fork in the Road, Pig in a Pickle, Forte Grill, Chef House, Da ‘Ohana Spot, Kona Ice, and Kettle Corn.

The queen is named at the pregame football game on Friday night, Oct. 6, and the king will be named at the dance Saturday, Oct. 7. (TONY BARRETT PHOTO)
