Beverly Jo Pickering, 76, of Russells Point, passed away Saturday morning, September 9, 2023, at her home.

Beverly was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on February 22, 1947, to the late Lloyd G. and Virginia “June” (Tait) Pickering.  She was also preceded in death by her twin sister Winnie Jo Pickering and sister Susan Jo Pickering.

Beverly is survived by her sister Ginnie Jo Pickering; adopted sister Vonda (Rempfer) Frances; niece Emily Housholder; and great-nieces: Haley Brooke Stidham and Hannah Grace Stidham.

Beverly worked as a unit secretary for 30 years at St. Rita’s Medical Center and 10 years at Mary Rutan Hospital.  She was an active member of Bellefontaine First Church of God.  Beverly enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Blue Bloods and Castle, and treasured her time with the family.

Friends may call on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave. Bellefontaine, from 10-11am, with Pastor Gary Brown officiating Beverly’s funeral at 11am.    Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
