Roland William Fisher, 59, of Huntsville, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 17, 1964, to the late Roland D. Fisher and Audrey B. (Willi) Hoskins.

He is survived by his siblings: Pamela “Lynn” Duff of Bellefontaine, Brian (Lori) Fisher of Huntsville, Diane Major of Huntsville, Laurie (Mark) Welch of Bellefontaine, and Edwin (Virginia) Fisher of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law: Michael L. Duff and Robert “Bob” Major and a nephew, Chad Michael Duff.

Roland was a United States Army Veteran and an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Blake Kenner will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be one hour prior from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Zanesfield Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
