Shirley G. Hudkins, 70, of Lakeview, OH passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH with her family by her side.
Shirley was born on September 13, 1952, in Springfield, OH, a daughter of the late Euril Farrell and Margaret Louise Grindle Weaver. She is preceded by a brother, Roger Weaver.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Nicolette (James Jenner) Watson and Deena Borba, both of Lakeview, six grandchildren, Katherine (Oscar Dodds) Hudkins, AJ Watson, Allison (Cody) Baker, Evie (Nate Frazier) Borba, Sarah (Cameron) Mathews, and Shelbie Mathews, 11 great grandchildren, Ryan Netzer, Jr., Colin Brandyberry, Jase Lump, Caleb Mathews, Ezrah Baker, Owen Dodds, Nathaniel Frazier, Bentley Dodds, Auriella Baker, Cai Mathews, and Oliver Frazier, two sisters, Joan Hurr of Columbus, OH, and Patty Baughman of Lakeview, a brother, Daniel (Sue) Weaver of Springfield, best friends, Darlene Davis and Edna Smith, and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a 1970 graduate of Indian Lake High School. She enjoyed making crafts, collecting decorative rocks, and cooking. Shirley was a faithful and determined individual who loved her family dearly and cherished the time that she spent with them.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held from 1-3 pm, Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given in Shirley’s memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Autism foundation.
