Jeremi Michael Campbell, 51, of Sidney, OH passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Otterbein- St. Marys following a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Jeremi was born on August 31, 1971, in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of Maynard Michael Campbell, who survives in Port Jefferson, OH, and Candace Ward Campbell, who survives in Russells Point, OH. He was preceded in death by a stepmother, Norma S. Miller.

Jeremi is survived by four daughters, Mikayla Smith of Bloomington, IN, Kaya Campbell of Columbus, OH, Aliyah Campbell and Ella Campbell, both of Wapakoneta, OH, two brothers, Guy William Campbell of Columbus, and Dale Lee (Misty Gregory) Campbell of Chillicothe, OH, close friend and mother of his children, Erica Oakley of Wapakoneta, a stepsister, Dana R. Dann of Spartanburg, SC, and a stepmother, Kathy Anita Campbell of Columbus.

Jeremi was a 1989 graduate of Columbus Whetstone High School. He worked at Karoc in Sidney. Jeremi was an avid skateboarder, comic book collector, and fan of the OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed going to the ocean, and spending time with his friends. His greatest love and joy came from being with his daughters.

A celebration of Jeremi’s life will be conducted at a later date.
