Nellie S. Snider, 80, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Vancrest of Urbana.

She was born in Blackstone, Virginia, on November 19, 1942.

On August 5, 2006, she married her longtime partner, Richard “Rick” Snider and he survives.

She is also survived by her son, David Moore, three grandchildren, Colt (Lori) Moore, Jessi (Dustin) Voll, and Zoe Linn Moore, four great grandchildren; Paul W. Moore, Eli Moore, Amelia Moore, and Alaina Voll, many extended family and friends, her two dogs, Angel & Abby, and her cat, Torey.

She was preceded in death by her best friend, Paul Moore in 2011.

Nellie worked for D.A.B. /Glacier Daido for 30+ years until her retirement. She loved her family “to the Moon and back”, especially her grandchildren with Alaina being her shining star. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, reading, and crocheting. She liked to go to garage sales and thrift store shopping. She loved the holidays, with Christmas being her favorite. She was truly a “Grandma” to everyone she met.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate a private graveside service in East Liberty Cemetery.
