Possible injuries were reported for three individuals in a crash Monday, June 25, involving a car and a semi-tractor trailer at the intersection of State Route 274 and U.S. Route 33.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report the driver of the semi, Randy L. Ross, 60, of Hollansburg, and his passenger Desirae G. Debellis, 51, of Pickerington, were transported by Indian Lake EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital after the 10:07 a.m. crash.

The driver of the car, Charles A. Sickles-Sposa, 17, of Waynesfield, was transported by Huntsville EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital.

Deputies report Charles was operating a 1999 Buick LeSabre on S.R. 274 approaching U.S. Route 33. He reportedly failed to yield from the stop sign and drove into the path of a westbound semi operated by Ross on U.S. 33.

The semi struck the right rear of the car and both vehicles went off the northeast side of the intersection, with the semi overturning onto its side.

The car also struck a traffic sign before coming to rest in the ditch. Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.

All three occupants were wearing their seat belts, deputies said. Charles was cited for failure to yield.

The Huntsville Fire Department also responded to the scene.
