Genevieve L. Wallace, 100, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 5:06 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Green Hills Care Center. She was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1922, to the late James and Christine (Morasco) Sementelli.

She is survived by four children: Christine Cummins of Bellefontaine, Richard Wallace of Florida, Vincent Wallace of Florida, and Jennie Lea (Nick) Wallace of Belle Center; seven grandchildren: Heather, Chad (Barbara), Amber (Jason), Nathan (Nichole), Rob (Marion), Jason, and Angela; nine great grandchildren: Sean (Angel), Skylar (Jessie), Hayden, Jaycob, Alex, Landon, Emily, Damon, and Hayley: four great-great grandchildren: Harley, Clara, Stryker, and Slade; and numerous nieces and nephews. Three sisters: Catherine, Elizabeth, and Philomina; three brothers: Richard, Vincent, and Francis; and her husband, Harold Wallace preceded her in death.

Genevieve was a self-taught seamstress. She loved working in her garden and cooking for her family and friends. Genevieve celebrated her life with those same family members and friends on her 100th birthday.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will lead a funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, at the St. Patrick Church, 316 E. Patterson Avenue, Bellefontaine, OH. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Church, 316 E. Patterson Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
