Longtime Bellefontaine Post Office employee Jacquie Campbell, right, stands Wednesday, June 14, with her supervisor, Crystal Jacobs, next to a sign to mark Campbell’s retirement after 34 years of service to the postal service. Wednesday was her last day. The lead sales and associate began her career in January 1990 as a clerk at the Huntsville Post Office. She worked split shifts between the Huntsville and Bellefontaine offices until a full-time position became available here. Campbell, who served under more than half a dozen postmasters during her career, said she had the privilege to work with many great customers and co-workers over the years. Following a vacation, Campbell plans to spend more time with her five grandchildren and her French bulldog, Arya. (EXAMINER PHOTO | T.J. HUBBARD)
