UPDATE: The Bellefontaine Water Department reports the boil water advisory for the selected streets has been lifted, as of 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14. Residents should allow the water to run if it is discolored or cloudy.
Due to water main repairs, the city of Bellefontaine Water Department has issued a boil advisory for the following areas:
Organ Street: 220, 228 and 229;
Terrance Drive: 184, 196, 200, 209, 200, 221, 233, 257, 268 and 269;
All of Highview Drive; and
Eastern Avenue: 909, 913, 916, 917, 919 and 1013.
The boil advisory in effect for the above-listed locations will e lifted once samples are collected and tested.
“We apologize for any inconvenience. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible,” water employees report.
