Belle Center Memorial Day — 11 a.m. Monday, May 29, parade begins at the Memorial Building, followed by memorial service at the cemetery, led by the Belle Center American Legion Post 266.

Bellefontaine Memorial Day — 9 a.m. Monday, May 29, parade, line-up begins at 8 a.m.; parade concludes at the Bellefontaine Cemetery for a ceremony.

DeGraff/Quincy Memorial Day — 10 a.m. Monday, May 29, parade begins at American Legion Miami Valley Post 652 and continues to cemetery for a ceremony, followed by a ceremony in Quincy at the cemetery; fish fry begins at noon at the DeGraff American Legion, the cost is by donation.

• Perry Twp Memorial Day ceremony — 10 a.m. Monday, May 29; East Liberty Cemetery, Hometown Heroes to be recognized: Marvin Mitchell and Bob Dill.

Huntsville Memorial Day service — Noon Sunday, May 28, Huntsville Presbyterian Church; Pastor Ben Beres and Pastor Bryan Meadows will lead the service, with special speaker Mike Yoder, Logan County commissioner.

Lakeview AMVETS Memorial Day parade — Parade Monday, May 29, line up begins at 10 a.m. at Emil Davis Park, parade begins promptly at 11 a.m., ending at the AMVETS parking lot for a short program; lunch will be served inside the AMVETS.

Rushsylvania Memorial Day celebration — 9 a.m. Monday, May 29, at the village park, sponsored by the Rushsylvania Lions Club, take lawn chairs; master of ceremonies: Lions President John Bayliss, featured speaker: Vietnam Navy Veteran Rex Sullinger; Mike Doss and Will Ricketts provide remarks regarding history of our local heroes; Benjamin Logan Middle School Band performs patriotic musical selections, an honor guard provides a 21- gun salute.

West Mansfield Memorial Day ceremony — 10 a.m. Monday, May 29, West Mansfield Conservation Clubhouse, 701 S. Main St., open to the public, sponsored by the American Legion Post 603, West Mansfield; Little Miss Poppy Emarie Carpenter and Olive Culp, music by the community choir; speaker Tom Huffman, U.S. Navy retired; salute to departed veterans by the American Legion Post 603’s honor guard.

West Liberty Memorial Day — 2 p.m. Monday, May 29, parade begins at the old high school and ends at the town hall; ceremony to follow, including a high school band performance, 21-gun salute, “Taps” and a benediction provided by a local pastor.
