Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a non-injury crash in front of Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Tuesday afternoon, May 2.
Brenda S. Forrest, 55, of Mildford, reportedly was operating an eastbound 1999 Lincoln Town Car on S.R. 540 about 2:45 p.m.
Leyla R. Johnson, 18, of Huntsville, was operating a 2009 Chevrolet HHR and pulled from a driveway at the school, turning westbound onto S.R. 540. Her vehicle struck the Forrest vehicle.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.
The two drivers and a passenger in the Forrest vehicle, Connie L. Hempy, 88, of Rushsylvania, did not report any injuries.
Johnson was cited for failure to yield.
