Lakers’ Tuttle no-hits Chiefs in 3-0 win

Indian Lake junior right-hander Camdon Tuttle tossed a no-hitter to lead the host Lakers to a 3-0 win over Bellefontaine in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game Tuesday.

The Lakers are now 11-5 overall and 8-3 in the CBC.

Bellefontaine drops to 6-8, 3-7.

Tuttle struck out seven and walked two.

The Lakers scored a run in the second inning and then added two more runs in the third.

Bellefontaine senior pitcher Lane Reeves held the Lakers to three hits, but the Chiefs were victimized by two errors. Reeves recorded eight strikeouts and walked two.

Chase Baldwin and Bryce Burton each had an RBI for Indian Lake.

Both teams are back in action today. The Lakers play at home against Benjamin Logan and the Chiefs travel to London.
