After a slow start to the season, Benjamin Logan’s baseball team is finding its footing.

The Raiders on Monday picked up their biggest win of the season, rallying with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to cut down county rival Indian Lake 3-2 in a Central Buckeye Conference game.

The Raiders have won five straight games to improve to 6-8 overall and 4-6 in the CBC.

Indian Lake is now 10-5 overall and drops into a first-place tie with Graham at 7-3 in the CBC Mad River division standings.

Ben Logan took a 1-0 lead in the second inning and the score stayed that way until the seventh inning.

Indian Lake jumped ahead with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh.

However, the Raiders fought back with two runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to pull out the win.

Kam Allen went 2-4 and Trey Miracle had two RBI to fuel the Ben Logan offense.

Hayden Kennaw went six strong innings on the mound for the Raiders. He allowed three hits and four walks while striking out six. E.J. Martin earned the win in relief.

Chase Baldwin had an RBI for the Lakers.

Gavin Lones allowed one hit and one earned run in 4 2/3 innings on the mound for the Lakers. He struck out eight and walked six.

Both teams are back in action today. The Lakers host Bellefontaine and the Raiders are at home against Springfield Shawnee.
