Cathy Denise Kieffer, 72, of DeGraff, passed away at 11:37 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Wapakoneta Manor in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She was born on November 6, 1950 in Piqua, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Otho and Charlotte Waneta (Hinkle) Jones.

On February 27, 1971, Cathy married Anthony “Tony” Rodger Kieffer in DeGraff, Ohio and he survives, along with four children, Anthony Rodger “Rod” (Malinda) Kieffer II, Michael Kieffer, Cathleen (Gideon) Hochstetler, and Elizabeth Kieffer; adopted grandchildren, Anthony Rodger Kieffer III, and Jovi-Anne Kieffer; grandchildren, Hannah Mae Kieffer, Justin Kieffer, Kayla Kieffer,

Calvin Kieffer, Charles Kieffer, Talitha Hochstetler, Kristine Hochstetler, Trevor Hochstetler, and Sheadell Kieffer; two great grandchildren, Sophia, and Grayson; five siblings, Candace (Tom) Dear, Clyde (Renia) Jones, Charles Jones, Cynthia Brown, and Vanessa (C.W.) Cruze; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tony Brown.

Cathy loved to write songs and poems, collected light houses, and most especially enjoyed visiting family.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, at Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff, where Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
