Riverside places three on all-TRC boys hoops team

Riverside’s boys basketball team had three of its players receive all-Three Rivers Conference honors this season.

Junior Myles Platfoot was a second-team selection, while sophomore Ayden Clary and senior Warren Shockey were honorable mention picks.

Miami East standout junior guard Wes Enis earned the player of the year award for the TRC.

The coach of the year honor was shared between Miami East’s Justin Roeth and Troy Christian’s Ray Zawadzki.

Along with Enis, the first team was made up by Milton-Union’s Cooper Brown, Lehman Catholic’s Justin Chapman, Northridge’s Adreyan Davis, Bethel’s Mike Halleg, Troy Christian’s Parker Penrod and Miami East’s Jacob Roeth.

Platfoot was joined on the second team by Troy Christian’s Alex Free and Frank Rupnik, Lehman Catholic’s Donovan O’Leary, Northridge’s Baron White and Milton-Union’s Connor Yates.

The remaining honorable mention selections included Covington’s Brogen Angle and Britton Miller, Miami East’s Connor Apple and Bryce Haught, Bethel’s Jason Bowen and Eli Lowery, Milton-Union’s Carson Brown and Tyler Kress, Troy Christian’s Christian Brusman and Kyle Sebor, Northridge’s Taron Hill and Deonte Smith and Lehman’s Turner Lachey and Da’Ron Pride.
