Michael E. Lotts, 75, of Bellefontaine, OH passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at Lima Memorial Health Systems with his family by his side.
Mike was born on December 8, 1947, in Dayton, OH, a son of the late John and Betty Hamilton Lotts. He was also preceded in death by a grandson.
On July 7, 2007, Mike married Teanda at their home in Lewistown and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Shane (Tina) Lotts of Bellefontaine, and Nick Lotts of Cincinnati, OH, two stepdaughters, Tray Cavinder and Megan Cavinder, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous family members and friends.
Mike was a 1966 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during Vietnam. Mike retired from his well drilling career but continued to work as a groundskeeper for Home Team Properties in Bellefontaine.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m, Saturday, February 18, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery, with military rites performed by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard. Mike’s family requests casual attire for those attending.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Mike’s memory to Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Hospital.
