Suspect lodged on felony warrant

BellefontainePolice Patch-200Christopher Miller, 38, of Bellefontaine, was jailed Wednesday, Feb. 8, on a felony warrant following a traffic stop executed by officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.

Officers initiated a traffic stop around 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Community Markets, 309 N. Main St., after observing the vehicle the suspect was driving had registration tags that expired Nov. 2, 2022. Informed of the reason for the stop, Miller reported to police he had forgotten to have his registration updated.

After collecting his information, police learned of an active warrant through the Adult Parole Authority for a parole violation.

Miller was arrested without incident and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
