Visiting Versailles refused to let Indian Lake rally in the second half Tuesday as the Tigers defeated the Lakers 54-44 in a non-league boys basketball game.
The Lakers are now 11-10 on the season. Versailles improves to 11-9.
The Tigers led by three points (10-7) after one quarter and they held a four-point cushion (25-21) at halftime.
Versailles pushed its lead to nine points (40-31) after three quarters and the Tigers maintained the momentum in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Camdon Tuttle led the Lakers with 17 points. Caiden Nicol and Avery Pequignot each scored 10 points.
Connor Stonebraker, a 6-7 senior forward, led the Tigers with a game-high 26 points.
The Lakers will wrap up the regular season Friday night at home against North Union. A win would give Indian Lake the outright Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division title.
