Richard L. “Dick” McNabb, age 64, of Lakeview, Ohio, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born on March 27, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late William L. “Bill” and Carol J. “Jeannie” (Shade) McNabb.

Dick was a 1976 graduate of the West Carrollton High School. He was a former employee of the Honda Motorcycle Plant in Marysville and was a Truck Driver and Warehouse Foreman for Aydelott Equipment, Inc. in Centerville with several years of service. Dick was also currently working for the State of Ohio in both ground maintenance and general maintenance at the Indian Lake State Parks for the last several years. He was also a proud member of the NRA.

Preceded in death by his brother Robert Timothy “Tim” McNabb on Dec. 16, 2022, his niece Taryn Winegardner and by his uncle Jack McNabb.

He is survived by his 2 loving brothers Brian McNabb and wife Connie & Doug McNabb and wife Teresa, 2 nieces Kelly McNabb & Jenny McNabb, 4 nephews Kyle McNabb, Jake McNabb, Aaron Hobart (Nickie Massie), and Garth Hobart, uncle & best friend David Shade, aunt Bonnie McNabb, cousins Hallie Addington and husband Jason, Karen Roberts, Scott Alexander, April Jones and husband Ben, Julie Schwab and husband John, special friends Jim “Doc” Loeb and wife Sondra, and Denise “Renee” Crabtree, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later time. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
