Bellefontaine’s girls basketball team received a balanced scoring attack in a 57-41 victory over visiting Kenton Ridge on Saturday.
The Chiefs are now 10-6 overall and 2-2 in the CBC. The Cougars drop to 2-11, 0-4.
Alexis Robinson and Tiffany Boop paced Bellefontaine with 18 points apiece. Quinlan Zedeker had 15 points.
Bellefontaine jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one period and the Chiefs led by 14 points (30-16) at halftime.
Bellefontaine maintained a 14-point cushion (44-30) after three quarters.
In the junior varsity game, Bellefontaine won 25-19. Gabbe Hoon led the Chiefs with 16 points.
Bellefontaine is back in action Wednesday at home against Graham.
