Julia Ann Thompson, age 78, passed away unexpectedly, on November 16, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. We are sure she is walking hand in hand with her Mother, barefoot and enjoying the Master’s Garden.
Julia leaves behind her son, Ernest “Willie” (Debbie) Thompson of Forest, OH, and her daughters Tronia (Tony) Hannah of West Mansfield and InaJean (Keith) Warrick of West Mansfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved deeply, Lonnie Hannah, Andy (Charlotte) Hannah and daughter Kennedy; December (Kyle) Greenfield and the late Jon Hannah and children Brier and Railynne Hannah; Kathy (Adam) Fulk children Dakota, Danielle, Hunter, Landon, Bryson, Coen and Wrenlee; Paul (Nique) Thompson and children Alaina, Evelyn and Ryker; Keith “Coach K” Warrick ll and Beth (David) Warrick. Siblings, John Crevison and Daisy Green of West Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ina (Payne) Crevison, her sister Lois and husband Bob Reynolds and their daughter JeanAnn, brothers Frank and his wife Jennie Crevison, Doug and his wife Virginia, Charlie Crevison, Donald Crevison, and a grandson Jon Hannah.
Julia will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of her grandchildren, her humor and her love of flowers blooming in the spring and summer. She retired from Siemens and also had worked as a nurse’s aide in her younger years. She had been on many adventures to see her grandchildren’s football, softball, volleyball and basketball games and climbing competitions.
She enjoyed her trips to Virginia to see her granddaughter Kathy and her family, Olympia Washington, Colorado, North and South Dakota and even a trip to France where she visited Paris, Normandy and Braincon, France. She enjoyed riding the side by side with her son, Willie as they explored his property and the countless golf cart rides, she took with her grandkids at Tronia and Tony’s.
A service of remembrance takes place with family and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 29, with food and fellowship at Hays Community Center, 116 S. Main St., West Mansfield.
Julia made the selfless act of donating her remains to the Wright State University, and she was selected for a study at the University of Kentucky at Lexington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Benjamin Logan Football program, Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude’s.
