Domestic violence charges filed

Mason M. Diener, 26, of 6553 Findlay St., Huntsville, was charged with domestic violence related to an incident Sunday, May 28.

Katrina M. Diener, 26, of the same address, also was issued a summons for domestic violence related to the incident.

Deputies responded to their address about 1:50 a.m. on a report of a domestic dispute.

Katrina told deputies that she and Mason had been in a physical confrontation, pushing and shoving each other, and said that Mason started to “grab her up.” She showed deputies an injury to her shin and a small mark inside her mouth.

Mason told deputies that he had been shoved, but nothing really physical had taken place. He was placed under arrest, and deputies said he then started becoming angry and changing his story about the altercation. He was transported to the Logan County Jail and Katrina was issued the summons.
