Some 300 people were were believed to have attended an outreach event Wednesday evening in Oakland Square in Bellefontaine. The event featured free pizzas baked on site by 600 Downtown staff, hot dogs, baked goods, pop, snacks and dozens of giveaways and prizes from mountain bikes to free gift cards. Kids enjoyed ring toss games and playing in rolling bumper ball inflatables. Wayne Harris, pictured in the foreground, kneeling, along with members of the West Liberty First Church of God and others helped organize the event.
