2 ILHS pupils advance to national BPA contest

Indian Lake High School students Paige Mefford and Hannah Metzger punched their tickets to the national Business Professionals of America competition later this spring, following their placements at the recent state conference in Columbus. 

Paige earned third place overall in Fundamental Word Processing, while Hannah advanced in Business Law and Ethics. 

Several other students from Mrs. Coburn’s BPA group also received top finishes at the state level contest. 

Alex Minnich competed in Payroll Accounting and placed in top 10.  

Jonathan Henry competed in Business Law & Ethics and also placed in top 10. 

Megan Kimbler, Porscha Davis and Abigail Elliott also took part in the event at the Columbus Convention Center. 

Paige and Hannah will travel to Anaheim, Calif., the last week of April to compete in the National BPA contest.
