The Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Russells Point Police Department, Indian Lake EMS, DeGraff Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

• Kenneth Riner Jr., 58, of Belle Center, was charged with OVI during a traffic stop about 11:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers initiated the stop in the area of State Route 366 near Township Road 94 due to Riner having a suspended driver’s license.

Upon making contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. He reportedly admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the morning.

A search of Riner’s truck revealed an open container of alcohol. Kenneth submitted to field sobriety tests and was subsequently taken into custody.
