Susan R. Dearth, 51, of Bellefontaine, was transported by private vehicle to an area medical center for possible injuries sustained in a crash about 10 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies report she was operating a northbound jeep on Township Road 216 near County Road 11 when she drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Damage to her jeep was heavy.
The driver was wearing her seat belt, and no citations were listed.
Teen charged after hitting brother with chair
Kyle L. Richardson, 14, of 183 Rush St., Rushsylvania, was charged with domestic violence after an incident at his address Friday afternoon.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 4:20 p.m. to an unruly juvenile complaint.
Kyle’s family reported that he went out of control that afternoon, and struck his 15-year-old brother with a plastic chair, causing injury to his brother.
The defendant then reportedly picked up a grill outside and slammed it to the ground. He then went into a shed and picked up a ladder, and threw it around the backyard, according to reports.
Kyle was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
