Paul Westenheffer has been appointed as new executive director of the Hilliker YMCA, 300 Sloan Blvd.
He succeeds Mike Mullins, who retired in December and now serves on the non-profit’s board of directors.
The appointment, announced Monday, was made by the YMCA of Central Ohio as part of a one-year trial agreement with the local Y to manage its day-to-day operations.
Mr. Westenheffer, who also currently serves as executive director for the Gahanna YMCA, will oversee both operations.
He has 27 years’ experience with the YMCA, serving in various positions in central Ohio and Pennsylvania.
