Kevin B. Turner, 38, at large, was charged Tuesday with public intoxication.
He was detained around 10:40 p.m. outside his father’s 450 Kristina Drive apartment. The father did not want the suspect to stay and the intoxicated suspect could not find another place to stay, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department reported.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Anna D. Roe, 19, of 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 133, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear.
• Covee C. Haney, 17, of 450 Kristina Drive, Apt. 10F, was charged Monday with delinquency possession of marijuana and illegal use of drug paraphernalia while Grant Westerman, 17, of 428 E. Columbus Ave., was charged with delinquency possession of marijuana.
They were in a car that was stopped around 9:40 p.m. in the 100 block of north Park Street.
Officers recovered marijuana from both boys and found a pipe and grinder under Covee’s driver’s seat. During the stop, the two suspects used cellular phones to take “selfies” of themselves in front of a police cruiser with its flashing lights.
The boys were released to their parents.
