Dominic Inskeep, 17, of 343 Race St., DeGraff, was charged with inducing panic related to an incident Monday at Riverside Local Schools, 2096 N. County Road 24, DeGraff.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 11:10 a.m. to the school on a report from the school resource officer that a student had made a verbal threat.
Deputies were informed that Dominic had been in class talking with other students when another student became angry with him and then Dominic allegedly made the threat of harming others. The teen told deputies he did actually want to harm anyone, but said it out of frustration and anger.
School officials contacted his mother. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
No injuries reported in C.R. 130 crash
Rachel N. Snapp, 20, of DeGraff, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead related to a non-injury crash about 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a northwestbound sport utility vehicle in the 3000 block of County Road 130 when she struck the rear of a northwestbound car operated by Serrena K. Shepherd, 25, of Bellefontaine, who had slowed to make a left turn.
The drivers were wearing their seat belts. Damage was light to the SUV and moderate to the car.
