Officials from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office announced today that the office has received a $35,744 Ohio Traffic Safety Office grant, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The grant will be used for the goal of reducing fatal crashes in Logan County.
In the past three years, deputies said there have been 32 fatal crashes in the county.
Throughout the course of the grant, deputies will concentrate on violations such as impaired drivers, speed, distracted driving, aggressive driving and seat belt usage.
